There are lots of biomes that animals populate. From the grasslands of Africa to the polar regions of the arctic, animals have adapted to fit in with their environment and survive. Many animal habitats provide home and comfort for human beings as well. Many people wonder if they are compatible with the different environments that are featured around the globe. Which animal territory would suit your personality and be a perfect match for you?

Temperate Forest Habitat

You love high altitudes, and staying grounded for long periods of time can make you feel stagnant and powerless. You’re great with directions, but like to get lost sometimes because you like to discover new things in your own back yard. You anticipate the changes of seasons because you love the change in scenery and the array of new animals that may pass by and come your way. Since the forest has resources that can help you survive, you don’t feel any need to go into survival mode and panic. Since you anticipate change in your environment, you’re adaptable and not much surprises you in the long run. Change can be good, but being addicted to change can make it hard to stay in one place for long or get into a routine.

Rainforest Habitat

You love meeting new people. You like to live where there is diversity and where you can learn new things and different ways of life. Your temperature runs warm, so when you feel a cold chill coming your way you immediately head for the exit. Since you crave the warm environment, you’re used to going out and exploring your surroundings. Your friend group consists of people who share your personality, but everyone also differs in the way they conduct themselves and live their lives. You love to stay grounded because there are many layers to you. Enjoy life and seek out people who cherish you, but be aware of people too: not everybody is who they say they are.

Grasslands Habitat

You’re built for survival, and knowing you have limited resources really makes you focus. Planning ahead and worrying about your livelihood is always first on your mind. You know you can have fun and even relax, but most of the time you take life too seriously. The good thing is that you work hard to build a life for yourself, and you’re thankful when somebody helps you when you least expect it. Although you run hot and can anticipate the weather, you know deep down that you need to have fun. Traveling to see family and friends might be a good way for you to get out of survival mode—who knows, maybe you’ll discover more about yourself and relax.

Savanna Habitat

Your life is unpredictable, so sometimes you feel safe and sometimes you don’t. You never know what the weather might bring, and that makes you sad because sometimes you’d like to know the outcome before Mother Nature strikes. You get lost easily for the most part because your environment is consistently flat, yielding nothing to differentiate itself from the scenery. You feel stuck, but you also know you don’t have to stay where you find yourself. Seeing the same people day every day makes you venture far from home to seek different people and explore new things. Remember that being consistent and having a routine is fine, but if you’re not growing the way you want to, you can deprive yourself of new experiences.

Desert Habitat

You are extra cautious because you know there are dangers out there, and if you let your guard down you’ll be very vulnerable. You weren’t born with a silver spoon in your mouth, and you know how to survive extreme circumstances. You don’t play with your food; if you’re not hungry, you save your food for when you are ready to eat. You go to great lengths to make sure that you’re healthy for another day. Although there are dangers, you love your habitat because of the warm days and chilly nights. Knowing you’re a survivor sets you up to endure more and get the job done.

Aquatic Habitat

You’re not burying yourself in the sand: you seek adventure and travel to keep your brain flowing. You glide through life because you love to talk and know how to get out of harrowing situations. Knowing you can’t keep your feet out of water worries some people, but not you. You love aquatic life because you feel like the weight of the world is off your shoulders. Jumping in and figuring things out on the spot is your specialty. You’re still discovering new places untouched by man, and you won’t stop being adventures any time soon. Since life seems lighter every time you dive into a situation, life is sweet and not full of worries. Just be careful of your expectations; not everything in life is picture perfect.

Polar Region Habitat

You don’t mind isolation. You have a subdued nature and aren’t stimulated by constant human interactions. Since you don’t mind being by yourself, you’re very creative when you want to stimulate your mind. You know resources are scarce, so you plan ahead and act accordingly. You tolerate the cold weather and believe that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. The wildlife in your environment is a constant reminder that you are strong and built to survive almost anything. Since your contact with people is limited, you resort to watching people onscreen. Human beings are social and not meant to live alone. It’s okay to seek out a friend or two, even if you always think you can handle things on your own.

Mountainous Region Habitat

You know you don’t have a solid foundation. You’re always on the move and you don’t mind, regardless you know that one wrong move can send you falling down. Always cautious, your moves are calculated with safety in mind. You don’t like high elevation because you know that it’s difficult to survive there. Standing at the base, on sturdy ground, provides a sense of comfort to you. Moving away from freezing, dangerous weather brings you great comfort. Returning to your home when the dust settles also brings you joy and a sense of accomplishment.
