Do you know high-school students who would love to work with animals? There is now a pathway to get the knowledge and skills to help animals and their owners.
Mountain Institute CTED has completed the first year of the Veterinary Assistant program with great success. Every single student enrolled in the program, passed their state evaluation test!
Students came from as far away as Seligman, Humboldt, Ash Fork and Chino Valley to join this program. It’s for 10th- , 11- and 12th-grade students, and is part of their high-school credit and grade.
The class is one year, Monday through Thursday from 1:15p to 3:30p, and bus transportation is provided by their high school.
